Peripheral Nerve Stimulation/SSEP:

This modality is also a form of electrotherapy; however, this is much more specific to an individual peripheral nerve. We can target a specific nerve and stimulate it to restore normal function tracing all the way back to the areas of the brain to which that nerve travels. We can use this modality on cranial nerves as well to help restore brainstem function and help alleviate symptoms like headaches, dizziness, facial weakness (Bell’s palsy), facial numbness/tingling (trigeminal neuralgia), etc.
