Comprehensive Blood Anlysis:

Would you like to understand your physiology and your current state of health?

This comprehensive blood analysis assesses roughly 65 bio-markers of human physiology, and can accurately identify foundational issues contributing to your chronic illness.

Once your test is ordered, a lab requisition form will be emailed to you. Please print the requisition form and take to the nearest Quest Diagnostics Lab to you. This is a fasting blood test so it is encourage to go first thing in the morning. No consumption of food is allowed after midnight. Water consumption is permitted and recommended to ensure a successful blood draw. No appointment is needed, however, you can contact your Quest lab to see if scheduling is allowed. Eat immediately after blood draw to avoid symptoms.

Once your blood draw is complete, it will take roughly 3-5 business days for Dr. Cynthia to receive your results. The next step is to schedule a 60-90 minute one on one lab review with Dr. Cynthia to discuss your findings. This can be performed one of three ways:

1) An in person consultation at The Kempinski Clinic ("In Person")

2) Virtual consult via Zoom from the comfort of your home ("Telehealth")

3) Phone consult from the comfort of your home ("Phone")

For a limited time, your 60-90 minute lab review consultation will be included with the purchase of this lab panel.

Schedule your comprehensive blood analysis today to begin your journey of taking back control of your health.

Organic Acids Test (OAT):

WHAT ARE ORGANIC ACIDS?

Organic acids are chemical compounds excreted in the urine of mammals that are products of metabolism.

The Organic Acids Test (OAT) offers a comprehensive metabolic snapshot of a patient’s overall health with 75 markers.  It provides an accurate evaluation of intestinal yeast and bacteria.  Abnormally high levels of these microorganisms can cause or worsen behavior disorders, hyperactivity, movement disorders, fatigue and immune function. Many people with chronic illnesses and neurological disorders often excrete several abnormal organic acids in their urine. The cause of these high levels could include oral antibiotic use, high sugar diets, immune deficiencies, acquired infections, as well as genetic factors.

Our Organic Acids Test also includes markers for vitamin and mineral levels, oxidative stress, neurotransmitter levels, and is the only OAT to include markers for oxalates, which are highly correlated with many chronic illnesses.

If abnormalities are detected using the OAT, treatments can include supplements, such as vitamins and antioxidants, or dietary modification. Upon treatment, patients and practitioners have reported significant improvement such as decreased fatigue, regular bowel function, increased energy and alertness, increased concentration, improved verbal skills, less hyperactivity, and decreased abdominal pain. The OAT is strongly recommended as the initial screening test.

SPECIMEN REQUIREMENTS:

Urine: 10 mL of first morning urine before food or drink is suggested. Patient should avoid apples, grapes (including raisins), pears, cranberries and their juices 48 hours prior to specimen collection.  Avoid arabinogalactan, echinacea, reishi mushrooms, and ribose supplements for 48 hours before collection.

Once the test is ordered, a diagnostic kit can be mailed to your home (shipping rates apply) or picked up in office at The Kempinski Clinic. Further directions on how to proceed are located within the kits.

Once your kit has been mailed, results should arrive within 2-3 weeks.
