Dr. Thomas Kempinski, DC, DACNB

Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist

Functional Medicine Practitioner

Dr. Thomas Kempinski is a board certified chiropractic neurologist passionate about helping patients achieve their health milestones through specific neurological rehabilitation, clinical nutrition, and chiropractic services. Dr. Kempinski follows a drug-free, surgical-free approach focusing on building new connections in the brain and strengthening areas of weakness based on the principles of neuroplasticity - the brains ability to form and reorganize new neuronal connections in response to stimulation.

Dr. Kempinski is dedicated to providing the most up to date treatment methodology for those suffering with chronic complaints, or those looking to achieve optimal wellness and performance enhancement. This is achieved by implementing a variety of therapies specific to the individual. No two patient's are the same, therefore, every person needs an individualized approach to achieving true health and wellness.

The human body is a marvelous self-healing organism, where every action is controlled and regulated by the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord). As a functional neurologist, Dr. Kempinski's approach is to assess biomarkers of human function, implement a specific neurological rehabilitation program, and then reassess those biomarkers to show efficacy of care. This same concept is carried over to metabolic management where biomarkers are assessed based on laboratory testing.  Blood work analysis should assess patterns of function of human biochemistry and physiology.  We can then use nutritional counseling and specific supplementation protocols to help aid in the pursuit of normal human function.

Dr. Kempinski also possesses a strong affiliation for athletes, as he was a 5 sport athlete in high-school, a college football athlete, and currently a level 1 CrossFit coach and competitive CrossFitter. This gives Dr. Kempinski a unique first hand perspective of what athletes experience through training and competition.

“I thoroughly enjoy working with all different types of athletes to help them achieve their goals.  Examples include performance enhancement, training functional movements with technique precision, developing overall stability, improving flexibility/mobility, injury prevention, as well as, injury recovery.”
